Judy Cabacang is a Registered Electrical Engineer practitioner and a portrait photographer enthusiast. I’m currently working as an Electrical Design Engineer in a Multination Design Consultancy here in Makati City. I’m now working for almost 6 years as an Electrical Engineer. During my past time, I like to watch movies/ TV series, listening music, playing badminton, running, and surfing the net. Then recently I just found out that I’m into portrait photography. This was just started when I got my first camera way back 2014 when I was assigned in Dubai by my company for a certain project. That was the time when I purchased my 1st DSLR camera. But ever since I really want to try this hobby because I was able to experience to take a picture when I was in OJT in a utility company. Before I didn’t much used my camera to take pictures since I was so busy in joining fun runs and marathons until I joined in an open shoot last October of 2015 in BGC. It was a simple open shoot event organized by a certain group of photographers with a couple of models. Then after that event, I just realized that I’m into it like it was a love at first sight hahaha. Before I don’t know how to use the manual settings and post processing of photos even the proper composition of the scene. I watched a lot of tutorial videos, I read lots of articles, and asked some tips from my friends who knows it. It was a learning process to me to develop my skills in capturing images and post processing. This serve as my new way of enjoying my past time and also a stress reliever. I know that I still have lots of things to learn to become a great photographer so I just continue to shoot and try different concepts. My dream shoot I think is to capture new born babies because their smile is priceless.
